Riley is 10 months old. Can you believe it? It seems like just yesterday he was learning to crawl and now he's practically running. This kid just won't stop growing!

I've been taking photos of Riley every month since he was born (and every day for the past month or so in my project 365 days of Riley) but for his 10 month shoot I wanted to do something a bit different.

As you may know, I have a degree in Creative Writing and an intense love of books, so it seemed fitting to do a vintage themed shoot with an old typewriter and books (both of which I already happened to have, because of course I would).

As I suspected, Riley was definitely a fan of this idea. The typewriter had way too many fun buttons and knobs to play with, and books are always a big hit.

As usual we had a blast. I'm just waiting for the day that Riley is no longer amused by my camera, but for now he's my perfect little model. He's my all time favorite subject to shoot!
